Adjustment and Checks
8. 1 Tighten nut-A by approx. a third turn.
8. When the wire rope is tense:
9. 1 Tighten two nut-C’s by approx. a third turn equally.
8.2 Extend the boom by 200-300 mm (8- 1 2 in) by operating the boom telescoping
control lever and then retract it fully. Check the boom is fully retracted.

9. When only the 4th boom section is not fully retracted:
9.2 Extend the boom by 200-300mm (8- 1 2 in) by operating the boom telescoping
control lever and then retract it fully. Check the boom is fully retracted.
