Note:
You may set scrambling for each individual component. This is
done by editing each individual component in the service and the setting
the same settings as above.
Generate tables
1. Navigate to the
Outputs
page, and select the
Tables
sub-tab.
2. Set PAT and PMT to
Playout Regenerated

Setting of the scrambling flag in SDT is done under the General
tab in the Service Config dialogue.
10.9.1 Verify scrambling setup
The CP525 analyses it’s own output, such that one is able to see if the correct PID’s are scrambled,
and that they are signalled.
1. Navigate to the
Outputs
page, and select the
Outgoing
sub-tab.
2. Select the
PIDs
subpage. In the leftmost
Info
colomn a blue padlock will be shown if
the PID is scrambled.
3. Select the
Services
subpage. Verify if the signalling of BISS is set correctly for each
service and component.

10.10.1 Scrambling
Setting up the scrambler consist of two phases; setting up an ECM connection for exchang-
ing control words (CWs) for ECMs, and selecting individual services and/or components for
scrambling.
