HTTP poll address
Only available in HTTP mode. This is IP address to the web server that serves the PMCP
data.
HTTP poll port
Only available in HTTP mode. This is port number to the web server that serves the PMCP
data.
FTP poll address
Only available in FTP mode. This is IP address to the FTP server that serves the PMCP
data.
FTP poll port
Only available in FTP mode. This is port number to the FTP server that serves the PMCP
data.
Username
Only available in FTP mode. The required username to log into the specified FTP server.
The default value is “anonymous”.
Password
Only available in FTP mode. The required password to log into the specified FTP server.
PMCP file list path
This field represents the location of the files on the HTTP/FTP server. The default path is
“/pmcp”. I.e on a HTTP server this would correspond to “http://server_address/pmcp”.
PMCP XML-file prefix
To recognize the files in the given path all files must start with a given prefix. The default
value is “PMCP_” which dictates that all XML-based PMCP files must start the file name
with “PMCP_”. I.e on a HTTP server this would correspond to a file name similar to
“http://server_address/pmcp/PMCP_filename.xml”.
Max. Number of local files
This field represent the maximum number of local files at a given time. In other words
this field dictates how many files would be cached locally. The default value is 5, which
would mean that the Dynamic PSIP feature always will try to have 5 pre-downloaded files
in the system.
Update interval
This is the poll interval of the system given in seconds. On each update the system will
connect to the PMCP server and perform fetching of data if needed. The default value is
30 seconds.
The parameters in the “Dynamic PSIP Status” section are:
Last poll
The time when the last poll was executed.
Last file downloaded
The name of the last file downloaded from the PMCP server.
