System Administrator’s Reference

Command Reference

Date Command

Use this command to view and set the date in the TSG-3800. If you do not specify a
date at start-up, the TSG-3800 reverts to the default setting.

Use this command to disable operations in the TSG-3800.

Event displays or disables logging of the specified event type
Logoff disables automatic logoff on the port

DISABLE PASSTHRU

where:

Passthru disables the passthru port

Level 3

DISABLE [CLK|FG] [A|B]

DISABLE EVENT [A|B] [MESSAGE|INPUT|EQUIPMENT|ALL]

where:

CLK disables the selected Clock module

FG disables the selected Frame Generator module

Event disables the specified automatic event logs

PORT = event logs from the specified port are disabled

MESSAGE = message logs are disabled

INPUT = input logs are disabled

EQUIPMENT = equipment logs are disabled

ALL = all automatic event logs are disabled (Default)

Level 4

DISABLE TL1_SECU]

Disables the TL1 security feature; a TL1 user does not need to log in using an
assigned name and password
