Initial Status
The initial status of the server when the system is initialized. The value can be
Active or Inactive. If you select Active, the server is automatically activated
when the system is initialized. If you select Inactive, you must manually
activate the server.
Command Options
The command line options that you can use to customize the operation of the
server. Separate command line options with a space. The following table lists
valid command line options.
sunOP Service
The name of the TCP/IP service that the server uses when running the sunOP
troubleshooting utility. The service name must be in the NIS services database
or in the
/etc/services
database file.

Command Line Options
Option
Description
-C
Cause responses to be delayed until the Telnet client
has received the request. Used for Telnet
connections.
-F num_file_descriptors
Set the number of file descriptors available to the
process. This is required if the number of client
connections exceeds the default number of file
descriptors for the platform.
-k keep_alive_type
Send the keep_alive_type signal on Telnet client
connections. The value for keep_alive_type can be
nop
or
eor
.
-L logfile_name
Turn on Telnet client activity logging and set the file
to which data is logged to logfile_name.
-t trace_flag
Enable SNA and Telnet tracing and set the type of
internal traces to capture in the trace file to
trace_flag. Sun recommends that you always set
trace_flag to
-1
, indicating all trace flags. Note that
you can also turn on tracing dynamically. For more
information, refer to Section 12.1.3.2, “Starting a
Line Trace,” on page 12-17.

Print the sunPU21 process version.
