To Replace a SIMM
Caution –
SIMMs are made of electronic components that are extremely sensitive to
static electricity. Ordinary amounts of static electricity from clothing or work
environment can destroy the SIMM.
Caution –
Do not remove any SIMM from the antistatic container until ready to
install it on the motherboard. Handle SIMMs only by their edges. Do not touch
SIMM components or metal parts. Always wear an antistatic wrist strap when
handling SIMMs.
