4.21 TEST
MODE
This command is used to read or enter
Test Mode
operation.
Test Mode
commands are
used in factory testing and field troubleshooting. The unit “times out” of
Test Mode
and
returns to
Read
Mode
if no commands are issued for 15 minutes. Major and Minor
alarms are asserted whenever the clock is in
Test Mode
.
To read the
Test Mode
status (ON or OFF), issue the
TM
command as shown below:
Type:
TM <ent>
Response:
TEST MODE ON
- OR -
TEST MODE OFF
To place the clock into
Test Mode
operation, issue the
TM
command as follows:
Type:
TM ON <ent>
Response:
TIME = HH:MM:SS DATE = YYYY-MM-DD STATUS CHANGE
ACTIVE ALARMS: MAJOR AND MINOR
IN TEST MODE
