4.20 TIME
The command,
TIME
, reads or sets the time of the NetClock/GTP.
To retrieve the current UTC time, issue the
TIME
command as shown below:
Type:
TIME <ent>
Response:
TIME = HH:MM:SS
Where:
HH
= UTC hours 00...23
MM
= Minutes 00...59
SS
= Seconds 00...60
To set the time, place the clock in
Set
Mode
and issue the
TIME
command as follows:
Type:
TIME HH:MM:SS <ent>
Where:
HH:MM:SS
= As defined above.
Response:
Time message reflecting the time entered
.
NOTE
: Clocks tracking GPS satellites can not be set using this
command. The received time data overwrites the set time.
Example: Manually set the TIME 13:45:00.

SM ON <ent>
Response:
SET MODE ON
