To change the play mode
You can change the play mode while playback is
stopped.
Press OPTIONS to enter the Options menu, select
[Play Mode], and then select the desired play
mode.

Continue
The unit plays all of the files in
the USB device in sequential
order.
Folder Continue
The unit plays the files in the
selected folder in sequential
order.
Shuffle
The unit plays all of the files
in the USB device in random
order..
Folder Shuffle
The unit plays the files in the

Note on shuffle play mode
When you turn off the unit, the selected shuffle play mode
(“Shuffle” or “Folder Shuffle”) is cleared and the play
mode returns to normal play.
To change the repeat mode
Repeated playback can be specified for the selected
play mode.
Press OPTIONS to enter the Options menu, select
[Repeat], and then select the desired repeat mode.

Notes
The following USB device/situations can increase the
time it takes to start playback;
— a USB device recorded with a complicated tree
structure.
— the memory capacity for the USB device is very
large.
The unit can play folders to a depth of 8 folders only.
Resume play is cancelled when you turn off the unit or
change the function.
This unit does not necessarily support all the functions
provided in a connected USB device.
The playback order for the unit may differ from the
order of the connected USB device.
Folders that have no audio files are skipped.
The following audio formats can be played back by this
unit (files with copyright protection (Digital Rights
Management) cannot be played by this unit).
— MP3 (“.mp3”)
— WMA(“.wma”)
— AAC other than HE AAC (“.m4a”, “.3gp”, “.mp4”*

Note that even when file names have the above file
extensions, if the actual file differs, the unit may
produce noise or may malfunction.

Only audio files can be played by this unit. Movie
files cannot be played.
Compatibility with all encoding/writing software,
recording devices, and recording media cannot be
guaranteed and may produce noise, interrupted audio,
or may not play at all.
