You can listen to Internet radio broadcasts
offered on the Web by Live365 and SHOUTcast
on the unit. To listen to the Internet radio, your
wireless router/wireless LAN access point has
to be connected to the Internet. For details on
connecting to the Internet, refer to the supplied
leaflet “Setup Guide”, “Connecting the unit to
your home network (network setting)” (page 18)
in this manual and to the operating manual of the
wireless router/wireless LAN access point.

Select the Internet Radio function
from the Home menu.

Select [Live365] or [SHOUTcast].

If you select [Live365] in step 2, press
/
to select the desired station,
and then press ENTER.
If you selected [SHOUTcast] in step
2, press
/
and ENTER to narrow
down the choices to the desired
genre. Afterwards, select the desired
station, and then press ENTER.
The unit starts receiving the selected radio
station.
Listening to the Internet radio
Notes
The service contents mentioned in this manual are
current as of July, 2009. These contents are subject to
change or cancellation without notice.
If after selecting a radio station the unit does not
connect within 60 seconds, “Cannot connect to the
radio station.” appears in the display. If you select [OK],
the playback display appears with no sound. In such
case, wait for a while, and then press
. If this does
not solve the problem, select the different radio station.
Tip
If the standby mode is set to “Quick Start-up”, the radio
station that was playing when the unit is turned off will
start playing again when the unit is turned on again. (The
standby mode is factory set to “Power Save”. To save the
information of the last radio station even when the unit is
turned off, change the standby mode to “Quick Start-up”.
For details on standby mode setting, see page 49.)
To update Live and SHOUTcast
information
Select [Update info] while the list of radio stations
is displayed.
The unit obtains the latest information and
displays an updated list of radio stations.
