• When packing, perform the unpacking procedure on “Unpacking” (page 13)
in Chapter 2 in reverse. To protect the library against damage caused by shock
or vibration, be sure to install the transport lock and transport screw before
packing.
• Take out all the cartridges set in the library. If the cartridges cannot be taken
out by operating the control buttons, refer to “The cartridges cannot be taken
out.” (page 84) in the “Troubleshooting” section to take out the cartridges.
• In order to turn off the power to the AIT library, first press the front power
standby switch, then press the power switch on the rear. When the power
standby switch is pressed, the internal mechanism moves to the appointed
position, then the power enters the standby state.
• Remove all the cables such as the power cable, the SCSI cable, the terminator
and the network cable.
