Chapter 6 Using the Library Administration Menu

The “SCSI ID” page appears.

Set the following items.

Library
Enter whether or not to enable SCSI ID and SCSI parity of the
AIT library.

Drive 1
Enter whether or not to enable SCSI ID and SCSI parity of Drive
1 (R).

Drive 2
Enter whether or not to enable SCSI ID and SCSI parity of Drive
2 (L).

3

Click “Submit”.

The library is configured.

Restart the AIT library.

The settings are activated.

Password

In “Password”, the password can be set or changed. The password is extremely
important for the security of the library. When accessing the Library
Administration Menu, be sure to change the password before configuring the
settings. Furthermore, closely guard the password.

Note

The password can also be set using the Password Menu of the control panel.
