15. Installing the X Belt
(1) Route the optional X belt between the synchro shaft and the X pulley assemblies (top)/(bottom).

Prepare the number of optional X belts corresponding to the number of extension consoles that
you are going to expand. Cut the X belt at the marked position with nippers as follows.
Parts required and the cutting position

When expanding a single extension console
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTS
Cutting at the EX1 marking position.

When expanding two extension consoles
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTS
Cutting at the EX2 marking position.

When expanding three extension consoles
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTS
Do not cut the belt.

When expanding four extension consoles
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTL
Cutting at the EX4 marking position.

When expanding five extension consoles
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTL
Cutting at the EX5 marking position.

When expanding six extension consoles
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTL
Cutting at the EX6 marking position.

When expanding seven extension consoles
Extension belt kit: CSMA-BLTL
Do not cut the belt.

Route the X belt (top) on top of the flexible board.

Confirm the direction of the X pulley assembly and that of the X pulley assembly (bottom).
The X pulley assembly should face downward and the X pulley assembly (bottom) should face
upward.

Cut the valley of the belt tooth.
