This section describes how to unpack and install this system at the installation location. It also describes
the environment required for the those work.
3-1. Before Unpacking
Before starting unpacking, prepare enough installation space described below. The dimensions and
weight of this system, as well as the space required for installation, are described. Be sure to read through
this section before starting.

Because this system is too heavy to unpack and install by yourself. So it must be done by at least three
persons.
3-1-1. Outside Dimensions and Mass

1 “Total mass” means the maximum mass when the maximum number of cartridges, S-AIT drive units and redundant power supply unit
are installed.
3-1-2. Precautions during Unpacking

The console has casters to facilitate moving it. However, at least three persons must move the console
together because it moves on a slope when taken out of its packing carton.

If the X-rails in the floor and ceiling inside the console are damaged or deformed, malfunction and
abnormal movement may result. Be careful not to damage or deform the X-rails in the floor and ceiling
when handling the console.

Outside panels are not installed on the left and right of the cartridge console and the drive console.
Therefore, be very careful not to damage any internal parts when moving the system.

Wear protective gear such as gloves for safety during unpacking and installation.

Secure sufficient installation space before starting the unpacking work. (Recommended space: width 3

depth 4 m)
