Installing Procedure
When the Proliant DL360 G3 made by HP is included

Unpack the PCU main unit and the hard disk.

Take the KM extension cable and the monitor extension cable out from the accessory box.

Open the front door (bottom) and the rear panel of the console. (Refer to “4-2-1. Opening the Outer
Cabinets”.)

Install the PCU rail into the rail that has already been installed earlier in the console. Then, push the
PCU into the console.

In some machines, the rails on the console side are not locked. If no marking is written on the

position shown in the figure, reinstall the rail by following the procedure below since the locking is
not confirmed.

Rail installation procedure

(1) Slide the rail by pushing the portion (a) in the figure until the small window shows the numeral

“25”, and then set the lock on the front side of the rail to the unlocking side.
