6-3-2. Settings to Supply Power to the ROBOT from the PSC and Other UPS
To make the ROBOT of the PetaSite side monitor the UPS status, connect the interface cable to the UPS
and set switch S1100-2 on the CPU-361 board.

Connect the cable on the PetaSite side to the UPS connector on the lower part of the front panel.
Refer to “6-4. Input/Output Signals of the Connector” for details on the alignment of position pins
and on the input/output signals. Also refer to the UPS Manual for details of the connection and
settings on the UPS side.

Set the switches on the CPU-361 board as shown below.

If the power fails while the ROBOT of the PetaSite is monitoring the UPS status, the ROBOT will shut
itself down and stop, regardless of the PSC or S-AIT tape drive status.
