Precaution
The height of the reel table is used as the reference of a tape running system. After
the reel table is replaced, be sure to perform the reel table height adjustment.
Preparations
1. Put the unit into the unthreading end state.
2. Turn off the power.
3. Remove the upper frame. (Refer to the maintenance manual Part 1, Section 1-6.)
4. Remove the cassette compartment.
(Refer to the maintenance manual Part 1, Section 1-7.)

Four polywashers are installed at the top and bottom of the reel table.
The polywashers (three 0.13 mm thickness: 3-303-961-01, one 0.25 mm thickness:
3-303-961-11) at the top of the reel table are spare ones during reel table replace-
ment. Be careful not to lose or damage them.
