3-3. OPERATION Menu
The OPERATION menu consists of items that a camera operator can set when changing the viewfinder
screen display, etc.

TEST OUT
ENC, Y, R, G, B,
Selects the output signal at the TEST OUT terminal.
RETURN, VF
When VF is selected, signals corresponding with the RET switch
setting of the camera (camera’s video signal or return signal) will be
output.
TEST CHARA
ON, OFF
Turns ON or OFF the function to mix the character signal with the
signal output at the TEST OUT terminal.
TEST MARKER
ON, OFF,
__
Turns ON or OFF the indication of the MARKER mixed at the TEST
OUT terminal when “VF” is selected for the signal output from the
TEST OUT terminal.
VF OUT
Y, R, G, B, COLOR
Selects the signal displayed on the viewfinder.
Note :
COLOR can be selected only when a color viewfinder is used.
Be sure to select COLOR to view images in color.
MIX VF
ON, OFF
Turns ON or OFF the function to mix the return signal with the main
signal.
This can be set when the CCU-700A/700AP/900/900P is used.
Note : The phases of the CCU output and return input must be
matched.
CHARACTER SYNC
a)
VF, TEST
Even when the TEST CHARA is set to ON, the character signal may
not be output to neither VF nor TEST OUT under any conditions.
In this case, set this item according to the following table.
