DISPLAY switch
ON
: Displays characters and messages indicating the
settings and operating status of the unit on the
viewfinder screen.
OFF
: Turns off all the displays on the viewfinder
screen.
MENU : Displays the setup menu on the viewfinder screen.
MENU SELECT knob
Selects the items displayed on the viewfinder screen and
changes settings.
MENU switch
STATUS : Allows you to check the current setting.
CANCEL : Cancels the menu setting mode and returns to
the page selection mode or TOP menu.
Basic Operations
1.
Displaying the menu
To display the USER menu or the OPERATION menu, turn the power on and set the DISPLAY
switch to “MENU”.

To display the other menus, obtain the TOP menu screen. (Refer to Section 3-2.)
Then, turning the MENU SELECT knob, select the menu to be displayed, and press the MENU
SELECT knob.

To change pages, move the cursor to the page number and turn the MENU SELECT knob.

To shift the cursor, turn the MENU SELECT knob. (Pressing the MENU SELECT knob determines
the setting.)

To change a setting value, move the cursor to the item to be changed and press the MENU SELECT
knob, then the cursor turns to “?” and the value changes by turning the MENU SELECT knob.
(Turning it fast, the value changes greatly, while turning it slowly, the value changes slightly for fine
adjustment.) To determine the setting, press the MENU SELECT knob, and to cancel the change,
press the MENU switch toward the “CANCEL” side.

By every set of the MENU switch to “CANCEL”, the screen returns to the item selection mode, page
selection mode, and then TOP menu

To delete the menu displayed, set the DISPLAY switch to “OFF”.
