Text Entry & Entry Modes
Enter hiragana, katakana, kanji, roman letters, numbers, symbols, pictographs and emoticons
on the handset. There are two entry methods: Standard and Beeper (pager-style entry)

Not all entry modes are available in all text entry windows. Only Icons for the available entry
modes appear.
