Green Power 2.0
60-80 kVA - Ref.: IOMMASGPXX06-EN 06
2.5.1. Backfeed
protection
The UPS can control two external (optional internal) power isolation devices against the backfeed of dangerous voltages, one for the
input line (MAINS SUPPLY) and the other for the auxiliary line (AUX MAINS SUPPLY). The external devices have to be connected to
the terminals as shown in figure 2.5.1-1 (COM1, NC1, COM2, NC2).
Warning labels must be attached to all mains power disconnectors installed away from the UPS area, in order to remind service
personnel that the circuit is connected to a UPS (see also section 1.1 Warnings in this manual and section 4.7.3 of standard CEI EN
62040-1 2009-05). The labels are supplied with the equipment.
Beware: if there is a hazardous potential on neutral under certain irregular conditions, or due to the installation upstream (e.g. unde-
tected and protected earth fault, high leakage in a phase, or with IT systems), a suitable isolating switch must be provided on the
neutral as well, or else there must be a detection, signalling and protection system (see paragraph 2.5).
