To convert the large rear mirror from transport to operating position
:
1. Using the 3/16" ball driver, remove the two mirror-lock screws and two lower
baffle-lock screws that secure the rear mirror and lower baffle in place during
transportation. They must be removed so that you can rotate the rear mirror into
operating position.
These four screws are located just behind the top baffle and the lower baffle, inside
the rear of the cabinet. See the figure below for their exact location. Once removed,
keep all four screws close at hand. You'll reinsert the two mirror-lock screws to lock
the repositioned mirror in place in Step #4. The two lower baffle-lock screws will be
needed if your cabinet needs to be returned to transport position at a later date. We
recommend they be stored in the lip of the top baffle after completing Step #4.
NOTE
Do
not
remove the mirror-pivot screws. As their name implies, these screws
function as a pivot point for the mirror assembly and must not be removed.

Be very careful not to smudge the rear of
the SMART Board surface while you're
working behind it. This surface is easily
smudged and very difficult to restore.
