TEST 11: KEYS SENSOR (WITH OPTIONAL FEEDER UNIT)
11 KEY PRESENCE
Cover the sensor
on the loader
Status:OFF
Use a key stem or other metallic object to make contact with the sensor situated on the key loader and check on
the display that the indication goes from OFF to ON.
NOTE: if the ON/OFF transition is not made, contact Silca’s Technical Assistance Dept.
TEST 12: MAGNET (WITH OPTIONAL FEEDER UNIT)
12 MAGNET CONTROL
Press START to
activate.
Status:OFF
Press START to make the magnet on the key loader trigger as if it were pushing a key and check on the display
that the indication goes from OFF to ON (instantly).
NOTE: if the ON/OFF transition is not made, contact Silca’s Technical Assistance Dept.
TEST 13: KEYBOARD

One at a time, press all the keys (except STOP) checking that an asterisk (*) appears for each key pressed. Press
the STOP key for last.
NOTE: if the asterisk does not appear, contact Silca’s Technical Assistance Dept.
TEST 14: DISPLAY

START to activate.
All points on the display should be obscured.
Press the arrow keys [Up/Down], the first line will appear with the words DISPLAY.
NOTE: if this is not so, contact Silca’s Technical Assistance Dept.
