Discards (full-
table-counter)
The total number of Forwarding
Database entries that have been or
would have been learned, but have
been discarded due to a lack of
storage space in the Forwarding
Database.
When this counter is increasing, it
indicates that the FDB is regularly
becoming full, a condition which
generally has adverse performance
effects on the subnetwork. When
this counter has a large value but is
not currently increasing, it indicates
that entry discards have been
occurring but are not persistent.
View the value of this object using
the show command together with
the
statistics
