Designated users
The TRANSIC111LP should only be operated, maintained and inspected by skilled
technicians who, based on their technical training and knowledge as well as knowledge of
the relevant regulations, especially in potentially explosive atmospheres, can assess the
tasks given and recognize the hazards involved.
Correct use

Use the device only as described in these Operating Instructions.
The manufacturer bears no responsibility for any other use.

Read the Operating Instructions before putting the device into operation.

Observe all safety instructions.

If you do not understand something described in the Operating Instructions, contact
SICK Customer Service.

Carry out the specified maintenance work.

Do not remove, add or change any components in or on the device unless such changes
are officially allowed and specified by the manufacturer. Failure to observe these
precautions could result in:
– voiding the manufacturer's warranty

The service interface may only be used with the SICK service interface cable (Part No.
2059595).
