Data interface CAN 1-IN/OUT
General conditions of the CAN interface
The SICK-specific CAN-SENSOR network is based on the CAN bus, which is structured in line
topology.
shows the maximum permissible CAN bus length, depending on the selected data
transfer rate.
shows the maximum permissible overall length of all stub cables, depending on
the data transfer rate. This overall length must not be exceeded. The maximum length of
each individual stub cable must not exceed 6 m (19.7 ft).
