Maintenance
Make ready for operation:

Wait until the sample gas filter has reached operating temperature once more (approx.
15 minutes).

Calibrate the device (

Cleaning the filter
Dismantling the filter element:

Remove sealing rings [A] from the face side of the filter element.

Remove the screw connection [B]
(on the analyzer unit types “inline” “industrial
housing”:
including the sampling pipe).

Remove pressure plate [C].

Remove filter element [D].
If the displayed calibration deviations are now unusually high, the sample gas
filter is probably leaking.
●
The filter element is a cylindrical sleeve of sintered metal. Dirt deposits
form on the
inside
of the sleeve.
●
The following applies for the analyzer unit types “inline” and “industrial
housing”: The sampling pipe of the sampling probe is secured directly on
the filter element.
●
Spare parts
CAUTION:
Risk of skin burns
The filter element is hot when the device is in operation (
200 °C).
Before dismantling:
Let the filter element cool down.
