Function of analog input B
The analog input B can be connected to either analog input 2, 3 or 4 of the operating unit:
Current signal for analog inputs
The analog inputs of the operating unit, voltage signals (0 … 10 V). When terminal
module 2 is suitably equipped, current signals can also be supplied.
If a current signal (0/4 … 20 mA) is to be supplied:
Equip R1 (for analog input 1) or R2 (for analog input 2) with 500
(use precision
resistor).
Select the signal range on the operating unit (0 or 4 … 20 mA;
).
Configurable switching output
The configurable switching output can output the following signals of the operating unit:
The switching logic of this switching output can be inverted:
External malfunction signal
An external malfunction signal can be supplied via terminals X10.5 + X10.6 via a potential-
free switching contact (switching contact open = malfunction). The error signal is output via
a relay; the external red lamp (X30.7–X30.20) shows the status of the relay.
If this function should be used:
Remove jumper J40.
