Explanation

Object tracking takes place in every CLV in the system. For this purpose, each CLV

continuously compiles an internal object list. When in slave mode, the CLV receives the

required tracking information for the objects in the reading field (consecutive object number,

beginning and end of object, incremental encoder status) from the OTC 400 via the CAN

bus. Depending on the parameter settings, the distance information for focus position

switchover is also sent. The position of the CLV relative to the conveyor belt must be clearly

defined to ensure that the bar code(s), object, and scanner are correctly assigned. A
