PROBLEMS
CAUSES
SOLUTIONS
1. The pump does not start.
Press the forced start push-button (on the
remote box). Consequence:
• the pump still does not start.
Device not connected.
Plug the device in.
Defective power supply.
– Correct the problem.
– Reset the system by unplugging the remote box for at least 10 seconds
and then plugging it back in.
Thermal break.
Wait for the reset. If the problem persists, contact an authorised engineer.
Motor problem (not functioning,
blocked), electronic system not
functioning.
– Clean the pump.
– Contact an authorised engineer.
•
the pump starts and the water is
drained: detection problem identified.
Float, filter, gulley clogged and/or
stuck.
Clean.
Float upside down.
Put the float back in the correct position.
Battery of the detection module not
functioning.
– If the green LED on the remote box is flashing: plan to replace the de-
tection module.
– If the green LED on the remote box is off: replace the detection module.
Detection module not functioning.
Replace the detection module.
Radio communication problem.
Take out the gulley sensor, bring it close to the remote box, turn it over for
5 sec. Check that the green LED on the remote box lights up:
– If the green LED lights up: remove any sources of interference (eg: metal
objects) and/or reconsider the location or orientation of the remote box.
– If the green LED does not light up: check the pairing (§ 2.5) and check
that the gulley sensor and receiver are of the same generation.
• the pump starts up but the water is not
drained.
Blockage of the passage of wa-
ter through the gulley cover
(
Sa 3
).
Raise the gulley cover.
Filter clogging.
Clean the filter.
2. The pump runs intermittently.
Leaking shower faucet.
Check the installation upstream.
Leakage of the non-return valve.
– Clean or change the non-return valve.
– Raise the gulley hose to create a water load on the valve.
Interference.
– Change the user code.
– Check for the presence of radio wave interference. Correct.
3. The pump starts but the water is
not, or badly, drained off.
Problem with priming, lack of water
in the pump.
Put water in the pump tank.
Non-return valve upside down.
Observe the arrow indicating the direction of the effluent.
Excessive height or length of eva-
cuation, or blocked pipe.
Revise the installation.
Hydraulic problem (clogging).
Clean the duckbill and pump.
Air inlet
– Check the presence of the sealing disc under the filler cap.
– Check that the flexible pipe is properly bonded to the gulley.
Duckbill valve support positioned
upside down.
Position the support correctly (suction hole downwards).
4. The pump runs properly but
does not stop.
Detection module constantly en-
gaged.
Check the position and condition of the float in the module. Correct.
5. The pump starts, water is drained
but with a suction noise at the end
of the pumping cycle.
Little lifting (pumping is too fast)
Install a flow reducer (not provided, contact our after-sales service ).
