Select the "Illumination" menu field on
the "Settings" menu.
By pressing the menu selector knob sev-
eral times you can switch between the
"manual" and "auto" modes.
The active mode is shown in red writing
and with a red triangle.

GPS (Global Positioning System) is a nav-
igation system from the Pentagon. At the
present, it consists of 25 satellites sur-
rounding the earth at an altitude of
21,000 km. If signals from at least 3 satel-
lites are received the system will be able
to determine the current vehicle position.
•
Select and confirm the "GPS viewer"
menu field from the "Settings" menu.
The information screen on display will
carry the following information:
– Number of satellites available
– Number of satellites received
– Present geographical location of the
vehicle

If less than 3 satellites are received the
following message will be displayed:
"Geographic location cannot currently be
determined".
