With the PI code the radio recognizes the
station which is currently playing.

The PS code broadcasts the station name,
which is displayed on the radio informa-
tion screen, i.e. RNE2.
Since some stations use the station name
for publicity reasons you can set the RDS
name in the menu "Audio setting" (called
up from the "Settings" menu field).

Due to the limited reach of stations the
program of a station, i.e. RNE2, is broad-
cast from various stations on different fre-
quencies. The AF code communicates to
the radio tuner set all suitable frequen-
cies for the respective program. The RDS
automatically and almost imperceptibly
connects the frequency with the best
reception for the program of your choice.
