This function allows you to save in the
alphabetical destination memory the des-
tination address shown in the destination
field.
•
Confirm the destination field (When
calling up the menu, the "Store destina-
tion" menu field is already selected).
Next, the editor menu is called up to enter
a short name.

Enter short name in edition field (i.e.
MEETING POINT 1) by first selecting the
symbols one by one with the menu and
confirm. The entry cursor will move to the
right.

Confirm entered short name by holding
the menu selector knob pressed for a
while (over 2 seconds). The confirmation
appears by means of a red triangle in front
of the short name.
The destination is now stored under the
short name in the alphabetical destina-
tion memory.

short name (red), it will be deleted when
introducing the first letter.
When the destination memory is full you
will have to overwrite one or more desti-
nations. In this case, once you have
entered the short name you call up a
menu including the "Overwrite dest."

with the menu selector knob the destina-
tion you wish to overwrite.
