In the guide to destination you can
choose between visual display of symbols
with rerouting or a display of the maps.
The choice of display, map or symbols,
will depend on whatever mode has been
activated in the last guide to destination.
The visual display of symbols will indicate
the number of available GPS satellites
and the state of the Jam function JJ, esti-
mated arrival time or travel time and dis-
tance to destination K
K, visual display of
the direction of travel L
L, distance to cross-
roads/turn bar with indication of distance
M
M and the name of the street you are cur-
rently driving on N
N. If the turn is near the
visual display of the direction of travel, L
L
will indicate the direction of the turn.
Furthermore, the name of the street you
will be turning into will appear on top.
You can always switch between either
type of display. To access the map mode
from the visual display of symbols you
must press the menu key. If you wish to
return to the visual display of symbols

If the system remains mute after switch-
ing on and "SAFE" appears on the display,
see instructions on page 88.
If you remove the ignition key while the
system is switched on, the system will
disconnect automatically.

one hour. The system then switches off
automatically. This can be repeated as
many times as you wish.
When the system is switched off and the
ignition key is removed a light will flash
indicating it is a set with an activated
anti-theft code.
