By using the editor menu you can enter
the alphanumeric data needed for naviga-
tion.
They include:
•
Enter destinations, such as city or
street names.
•
Enter a short name when storing a des-
tination in memory.
•
Enter a position name for a flagged
destination.
The editor menu includes:
•
Alphabet A
A with letters, signs and num-
bers
•
5 control fields B
B
– Blank space to delete marked sym-
bols.
– Switch alphabet (for special char-
acters in a specific language)
– Move entry mark to the left
– Move entry mark to the right
– Call up lists
•
Edition field with standard names (red)
or entry mark C
C (no destination has been
selected yet).
•
Partial list with four entries D
D.
The alphabet cursor is displayed at first
over letter "M". The edition field will dis-
play the standard name (red).
