The BankGuard PLUS Automatic Control Device includes a 2-line LCD that gives you
access to information about the control device and the capacitor bank/reactor. Table 1
gives you an overview of all of the faceplate buttons used to set up the control device
from the LCD.
When the LCD reads
[N-G Voltage]
, the control device is in display mode. This
mode lets you view the real-time neutral-to-ground voltage and, using the shortcut but-
tons, the present setpoint values.
If you press the
NEXT
button while the LCD reads
[N-G Voltage]
, you enter setup
mode, which lets you change setpoint values from the faceplate.
NOTE: If you enter setup mode and password protection is enabled, the top line of the
LCD reads
[SETUP]
and the bottom line reads
[Password 0000]
, with the first digit
blinking. Use the
+
and
–
buttons to enter the correct number for the first digit, then
press
ENTER
. Repeat for each digit of the password. When you have entered the entire
password, the display stops blinking and the LCD is in setup mode. If you have entered
an invalid password, the bottom line reads
[Invalid]
. Press the ESC button and then
the NEXT button, to retry entering the password.
If you press
NEXT
without entering a valid password, the LCD will display the set-
points, but you cannot change them.
To enter a new password or to disable the password see
Password Selection
on page
38.
