3. At Page 1 of the Communications Setup screen, click the PgDn button to
display Page 2 of the Communications Setup screen (Figure 10).
Enter all required information (as described below).

This screen includes the following fields:
SCADA Communication Baud Rate, Port A
SCADA Communication Baud Rate, Port B
This is the baud rate between the control device and the directly-connected communi-
cations device (radio, modem, etc.). This baud rate must be identical to the baud rate
for the communications device.
Half/Full Duplex, Port A
Half/Full Duplex, Port B
Set this value to match the value selected for the communications device (modem,
radio, etc.) that is directly connected to this port.
Connection Type, Port A
Connection Type, Port B
This is the type of connection for this port, which defines how the control device han-
dles communications.

– There is no connection to this port.

Non-Relay
– Messages received on this port are not intended for other control
devices. This setting also prevents the control device from recording errors if this
port receives a message not addressed to the local control device.
