1. Connect your computer to the control device.
Plug one end of the communications cable into the serial port on your computer. Then
attach the other end to the local communications port on the control device.
2. Double-click the IntelliLINK icon
in the open EnergyLine folder on the
Windows desktop.
If the EnergyLine folder is not open, open the Windows Start menu, the click Start >
Programs > EnergyLine > IntelliLink to start the software.
3. Wait while the IntelliLINK title box appears and the IntelliLINK software
attempts to open communications with the control device.
When the IntelliLINK software establishes communications with the control device, the
Operation
screen (Figure 5) opens. You can now set up the software in the control
device, view and save the “live” data that is in the control device, load settings into the
control device, and perform maintenance and troubleshooting.

NOTE: If the IntelliLINK software does NOT establish communications with a function-
ing control device, it displays the following dialog box.
