On FireLion and Edwards foam pumps a pressure gauge shall be installed next to the intake valve. The final installer 

shall install the following warning label next to the foam intake valve and connection:

•  WARNING:

  foam intake valve (from either “suction” or “pressurized” foam supply) shall be ball valve controlled to 

allow a 

maximum pressure of no more than 50 PSI (3 BAR)

 or foam pump damage will result. The foam intake shall 

NOT be used for “flushing” purposes.
