E 7.2 Display exchange
In case of a faulty display the complete mounting unit with display, pcb, keys
and inverter has to be exchanged. That is why only a precast mounting unit
is available as a spare part (no. 129691). Additionally a new scale is required
(spare part no. 167217). Please send back the faulty unit to RTW.
Proceed as follows to exchange the display:
Note:
When servicing it is very important to observe all standard ESD (electro-
static discharge) protection procedures.
1. For opening the unit please follow steps 1. to 3. described in Chapter E 7.1
2. Carefully remove the flat display connecting cable from the connector socket
right above on the main pcb (A). Avoid damage of the flat cable and the
connector. (Fig. E 7-3)
