Ink Cartridge is almost
empty
Check remaining Ink /
Replace the Ink
Cartridge
User's Manual
When the printer keeps printing with Ink Cartridge almost
empty, the negative pressure delivered in the ink tube
causes the improper ink supplying and the head cannot
fire the ink correctly.
2
Ink in Ink Cartridge is
cured
Ink Cartridge
Replacement
If a used Ink Cartridge is not stored in the aluminum bag,
the ink around the spout of Ink Cartridge might be cured
due to the UV light. Also, if the Ink Cartridge is exposed
under high temperature for a long time, the ink might be
cured too.
3
Error of Ink Empty
detection
Replace the Ink
Cartridge / Sensor
If the cartridge tab does not come out when the cartridge
is empty, Ink Empty cannot be detected and printing
continues without firing ink. Also, if the sensor is not
working, Ink Empty cannot be detected even if the
cartridge tab sticks out.
4
Bad contact/Broken
cable
Refix / Replace the
cable
If there is a bad communication between the head and the
Main Board, the signal for driving head is not sent properly
and results in not printing properly. If the Flexible cable is
fixed slanted, it may cause the bad electrical contact or
short-circuit. And, the cable which has been connected
and disconnected several times may have a damaged
terminal.
5
Defect of Cap Top
Cap Top Replacement [3-3 CAP TOP
REPLACEMENT]
If the Head is not capped correctly, the Head dries and it
may cause the Head nozzle clogging.
Powerful Cleaning /
Remove air bubbles
by a syringe
When air bubbles come inside the ink line, the head may
not fire the Ink temporarily. Air bubbles tend to go into the
Ink line if Ink Cartridge is installed and uninstalled so many
times. The air bubbles inside the lines can be removed by
performing the powerful cleaning or using a syringe.
Eliminate the
looseness of the tube
joint
If the tube has air due to the looseness of the tube joint, fix
the joint and remove the air.
7
Ink in Damper is cured Damper Replacement [3-17 INK DAMPER
REPLACEMENT]
Ink in the damper might be cured when it is irradiated with
UV light. If it is cured, the head does not fire the ink
properly because the damper cannot supply the ink
smoothly.

the Head Board
The F1 Fuses are for C and M (Head H1 and H2), the F2
Fuses are for Y and K (H3 and H4), and the F3 Fuses are
for GL and W (H5 and H6). If the C and M Heads do not
fire the Ink at all, the F1 Fuse may be defective. If the Y
and K Heads do not, the F2 Fuse may be defective. If the
GL and W Heads do not, the F3 Fuse may be defective.
