Move the Tool Carriage to the position under the H mark 

which is written on the rail.

The rail has an H mark at the point where Tool 

Height Adjustment is made during the production 

of the machine.

H mark indicates the highest position of the bed. 

(The position where the space between the Head 

and Bed is the smallest.)

The cables will be tied by insulock instead of the 

Push Mount later.

Cut the Push Mount fi xing the Paper Side Sensor Cable and 

Media Thickness Checking Sensor Cable.

Open the Wire Saddle which bundles the Paper Side Sensor 

Cable and Media Thisckness Checking Sensor Cable.

Loosen the 2 screws fi xing the Media Thickness Checking 
Sensor Unit as shown in the fi gure.
