8 Saving and Loading Instrument Settings
and Measurement Results
For documentation purposes or further analysis, the R&S FSH provides functionality to
save, store and load measurement settings and results. These datasets contain an
image of the current configuration so that the context of the measurement is clear. In
the case of measurements that have been calibrated, the R&S FSH also stores the
calibration data in the dataset.
By default, the R&S FSH writes the datasets to its internal memory. The size of a
dataset depends on the contents. On average, the internal memory provides space for
about 100 datasets, including limit lines, transducer factors, telecommunictions
standards or cable models. If you need more datasets, you can also store the datasets
on an SD card or memory stick via the USB interface (models with serial number
105000 and higher).
The R&S FSH4View software package features functionality to transfer the datatsets
from the R&S FSH to a computer and vice versa.
8.1 Saving Data Sets

Press the SAVE/RECALL key.
The R&S FSH opens the file manager.

Press the "Save" softkey.
The R&S FSH opens the "Save Dataset" dialog box.
