in the figure below. Then, click "Search" and the software starts
searching for the GPIB device resources connected to the PC
automatically. When a GPIB resource is found, its device source
descriptor will be displayed on the right side of the panel.
If resources cannot be found automatically:
Select the GPIB card address of the PC and the GPIB address of the
analyzer from the "GPIB::" and "INSTR::" dropdown boxes
separately.
Click "Test" to see if the GPIB communication works normally; if not,
please follow the prompt messages step by step.

The resources found are shown under the "RIGOL Online Resource"
catalog.
For example, DSA832E (GPIB0::1::INSTR).

Communication test
Right-click the resource name DSA832E (GPIB0::1::INSTR) and select
"SCPI Panel Control" to open the remote control panel from which you
can write commands and read data.
