DG4000 User's Guide
9-2
Storage System Overview
DG4000 allows users to store the current instrument state or user-defined
arbitrary waveform data in the internal or external memory and recall them when
needed.
DG4000 provides an internal non-volatile memory (C Disk) and an external
memory (D Disk).
C Disk: provide 10 storage locations (STATE 1 to STATE 10) for state files and
10 storage locations (ARB 1 to ARB 10) for arbitrary waveform files. Users can
store the instrument states and arbitrary waveform files (created by users or
downloaded using remote commands) to the C Disk.
D Disk: available when a USB storage device is detected at the USB Host
interface at the front panel.
Users can store the state files or arbitrary waveform files to the D dick as well
as copy the files in the C disk to the D dick. The number of files can be stored
depends on the storage space of the USB storage device. In addition, users
can read the text files and Csv files stored in the USB storage device.
Press
Store (the key backlight goes on) at the front panel to enable the
Store/Recall function and open the Store/Recall
interface as shown in the figure
