Return Time
The generator will always sweep from the "Start" frequency to the "Stop"
frequency and stay within the "Stop Hold" time. Return time describes the time
needed for the output signal to return to the "Start" frequency from the "Stop"
frequency after the "Stop Hold" time.
When
Sweep is enabled, press Return Time and use the numeric keyboard or
the direction keys and knob to change the return time. The default value is 0s and
the settable range is from 0s to 300s.
The generator will renewedly sweep from the specified "Start Frequency" once the
return time is changed.
Mark Frequency
The sync signal on the
[Sync] connector at the front panel corresponding to the
channel always changes from low-level to high-level at the start of each sweep,
and changes from high-level to low-level at the middle of the sweep period when
"Mark" function is disabled or at the specified mark frequency point when "Mark"
function is enabled.
When
Sweep is enabled, press Mark and select "On", as shown in the figure
below, use the numeric keyboard or the direction keys and knob to modify the
mark frequency. The default value is 550Hz and the settable range is limited by the
"Start" frequency and "Stop" frequency.
The generator will renewedly sweep and output from the specified "Start"
frequency once the mark frequency is changed.
Note: In step sweep mode,
Mark is grayed out and disabled.
