CAUTION:
•
Do not put an object on the front cover when it is open.
•
When removing misfed paper, do not touch the fusing unit because it could
be very hot.
•
To prevent an injury, this printer should be lifted by at least two people.
•
When moving the machine, each person should hold the handles that are
located on opposite sides, and then lift it slowly. Lifting it carelessly or drop-
ping it may cause an injury.
•
Before installing options, the machine should be turned off and unplugged
for at least an hour. Components inside the machine become very hot, and
can cause a burn if touched.
•
When moving the Paper Feed Unit, hold the handles that are located on the
top of the unit, and then lift it slowly. Lifting it carelessly or dropping it may
cause an injury.

When installing the Duplex Unit, do not release the unit until it is fastened
firmly in place. It may cause the unit to fall and result in an injury.

When installing the Finisher, be sure to hold the sides of them. If you hold
the bottom, your hands may get caught and injured.

When moving the Finisher, hold the center of both sides, and then lift it slow-
ly. Lifting it carelessly or dropping it may cause an injury.
•
When installing the 4-bin Mailbox, be sure to hold the sides of them. If you
hold the bottom, your hands may get caught and injured.
•

Do not touch the inside of the controller board compartment. It may cause a

If you use the machine in a confined space, confirm that there is a continu-
ous flow of air.

The paper tray does not have a stopper. When pulling it out, be careful not
to pull it strongly. If you do, the tray might fall and cause an injury.
