13.3 External Wiring for Controllers
CE Mark Requirements:
When all the modules mounted on the slots and wiring must meet the following
requirements:

Shielded cable must be used.
‐
Shielded cable must be in touch with the ground at least 10mm before the exit.
‐
External circuit connected to PSC7000 series must be SELV*.
* SELV: Safety Extra Low Voltage. Secondary circuit that is designed to be safely separated
from other circuits that carry higher voltages, isolated from earth and isolated from the
protective earth conductors of other circuits. Under normal operating conditions or single
fault conditions, the voltage (between circuit components that the user may accidentally
come in contact with or between metal components that may be grounded and earth) should
not exceed a safe value 42.4Vpeak or generate 42.4Vpeak or higher.
