11 Error Code
11.1 PSC7000 System Error
If a failure occurs during operation, an error code is displayed on the status indicator (dot
matrix LED digital indicator). See the list of error codes below. Once a solution has been
reached, you can clear the error on the PSC terminal.
For more information, see the “PSC Terminal Operation Manual”.
11.1.1 Internal Errors
The following table summarizes internal errors. When an error occurs, the PSC7000
controller will be reset, and the system will be terminated.

F001 Bus error
The process has stopped when
an undefined address is
accessed during execution of
firmware.
1) Make sure that a proper
control card is inserted into
the correct slot location
securely.
2) Replace the cards if the
process remains halted.
F002 Watchdog
Firmware of the PSC7000
controller was not running
properly. A watchdog timeout
error has occurred and finally
stopped.
1) Make sure that a proper card
is inserted in the correct slot
location.
2) Make sure that the
configuration task, card and
slot are correctly connected.
3) Make sure that I/O of the
application task is properly
used.
4) Replace the cards if the
process remains halted.
F004 Overload
The process has stopped when
an overload error occurred in
DSP processing during
execution of firmware or
application task.
1) Adjust the priority of each task
defined in the configuration
task.
2) Make sure that the control
block task is executed at
regular intervals.
3) Make sure that the other
application tasks are properly
running.
ERR! OS file damage
The OS downloaded to
DSPM-1A is damaged for some
reason.
Download the OS by using the CF
card.
