Air filter oil
The foam insert of the air filter must be moistened with a special air filter oil in order to filter out fine dust particles. When no air filter oil is used, dust
may enter the engine and destroy it.
e) Tools and Aids
The model is ready to run (RtR = Ready to Run). Prior to the start, you have to make and check a few basic settings as well as provide the necessary accessories
and operating materials.
Go through the various points of the check list one by one; afterwards, your model is then ready to run.
Tools:
• Socket wrench for the wheel nuts 10 mm
• Fork wrench 8mm and 10 mm
• Allen key 1.5 - 5 mm
• Phillips screwdriver
• Flat-blade screwdriver
• Pliers
• Model cutter
• Body drill
• Body shears
Auxiliary materials:
• Cable clips
• Air filter oil
f) Check List for Commissioning
What must be done:
• Checking all screw connections and wheel nuts
• Body cutout
• Servo function check
• Checking the range of the remote control transmitter
• Checking the basic carburettor setting
• Filling in the fuel
• Letting the engine run
Attention! Position indications (front/rear/right/left) always refer to the longitudinal vehicle axis in driving direction (seen forward)!
g) Commissioning the RC System
Please note the separate operating instructions of your remote control system!
The operation of the transmitter is possible with rechargeable batteries and normal batteries. When using rechargeable batteries, make sure that these have a
high capacity. Otherwise, the service life is reduced. If you use batteries in the remote control, we recommend the use of high-quality alkaline batteries. Ensure
sufficient residual capacity with a battery tester.
If the batteries/rechargeable batteries are empty, always replace the complete set (never individual cells!). Always use batteries or rechargeable batteries of the
same type and manufacturer. Never mix batteries and rechargeable batteries!
The remote control provided with the model has only been preset. Before the first drive, the throttle and steering travel must be adjusted to ensure
that the servos will not be blocked at full power (humming servos).
